NAMI Walk – May 11, 2019
Join the thousands of concerned citizens in communities across the nation who will walk together to raise money and awareness to ensure vital, free NAMI programs and services are available to provide help and hope to those in need. Every journey begins with that first step. Through NAMIWalks’ public, active display of support for people affected by mental illness, we are changing our American communities and ensuring that help and hope are available for those in need.
Walk and support our NAMI Cape Ann Team!
When: Saturday, May 11, 2019, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: DCR Artesani Park, 1255 Soldiers Field Rd, Boston, MA 02135
NAMIWalks Massachusetts brings together people of all ages to combat stigma, raise funds, and promote awareness of mental illness. The Walk event features about 60 exhibitors – artisans displaying their artwork, crafts, and other handmade goods, local NAMI affiliates, sponsors, and other friends of NAMI Massachusetts.
This year’s walk is the 16th Annual NAMI Walks Massachusetts. The Walk is NAMI Massachusetts’ largest event and biggest fundraiser of the year. The money raised helps NAMI Mass provide educational programs, support groups, grassroots advocacy, and the NAMI Mass Compass, our resource helpline.
There is no registration fee for the Walk, but your donation of any amount helps fund important programs for NAMI Cape Ann and NAMI Massachusetts.
