NAMI Family-to-Family (F2F) – New session starting in February!

There is no cost to participate, but you need to preregister. Space is limited!
NAMI Family-to-Family (F2F) is a free, 12-session educational program for family, significant others and friends of people living with mental illness. The course typically meets once a week for 10-12 weeks.


Support Groups
Our support groups help people in recovery from mental illness (peers) and their family or friends. People learn from one another’s experiences, share coping strategies, and offer encouragement and understanding.All groups are for adults (18-years-old-plus).

Second and fourth Tuesdays: 1 – 3 p.m.

All Gloucester groups take place at the NAMI Cape Ann office, Room 2A, Scott Business Center, 43 Gloucester Avenue, Gloucester. Enter the door under the canopy that says “Main Entrance” and follow the arrows to the second floor. There is an elevator.

Arts and Minds
A program unique to NAMI Cape Ann, it encourages our artistic members to submit their works for inclusion in local shows and sales. We reproduce art work on greeting cards and tiles and market jewelry, knitted goods, and other hand crafted items. Artists receive 80% of the sale price.

Arts and Minds schedule:
Second and Fourth Tuesdays of every month: 1-3 p.m., starting September 24

Cape Ann Social Club
The Club meets the Second and Fourth Saturday of each month from 12 to 4 p.m. Click on the SOCIAL CLUB tab on this website for details. For more information, leave a voicemail message for Yvonne, the Director, at 978-281-1557, or you can email her at yvers@yahoo.com.

All meetings take place at the NCA office: Room 2A, 43 Gloucester Ave., Gloucester. Enter the door to the right of Cape Ann Flooring, under the canopy that says MAIN ENTRANCE, and take the elevator or stairs up to the 2nd floor.

 


 

Thank you for supporting us for the annual NAMI Massachusetts Walk on May 11, 2019.

NAMIWalks Massachusetts brings together people of all ages to combat stigma, raise funds, and promote awareness of mental illness. The Walk event features about 60 exhibitors – artisans displaying their artwork, crafts, and other handmade goods, local NAMI affiliates, sponsors, and other friends of NAMI Massachusetts.

 


NAMI Cape Ann hosted a Holiday Party on behalf of The Grace Center in Gloucester, December 18.
